hello!The protection of the environment is getting more and more attention. However, I find that there are many uncivilized phenomena on our campus. I saw people spitting on campus, people throwing rubbish, and people destroying trees and breaking flowers. How dangerous these uncivilized behaviors are to the world! If everyone spit and throw rubbish, how dirty the road is! If there were no trees and flowers, would our earth still be able to live? So, protecting the environment, we should start from every little thing around us.

Lets go, class! Be a civilized student, protect the environment and create our beautiful homeland together.

good morning, everyone!

it’s my honor to stand here to make the speech. the topic of my speech is “protect the environment, protect ourselves”.

when i was a little girl, i usually played with my friends in the river in front of our house. it was a small river and the water can just submerge our calf. the river was so clean that its bottom can be seen through the water. the tadpole moved freely in the water. the flowers opened here and there. the birds were singing leisurely. that’s the most beautiful scene in my memory about my childhood.

several years passed, the river is no longer like the past look. when i go back my hometown, the river shocks me. waste paper and used coke cans are discarded everywhere. plastic bags fly in the sky and get caught in the trees when the wind blows. garbage floats in the river and pollute the water. i can even hear the cry of the river,“help! help! ”

now, more and more people realize that humans are to blame for the worsening of the earth’s environment, including the climate change and the environmental pollution. our activities today will have a profound impact on society, not only for us, but for many generations to come.

many scientists proved that the climate warming was caused by burning of fossil fuels in factories, buildings and cars. the sea level rises faster than past decades.

on the other hand, a large amount of waste collected from homes, offices and industries end up in landfills. landfills are a major source of pollution. they contain harmful chemicals that can seep into the soil and make it polluted.

protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility. firstly, governments should forbid destroying plants, rivers and lakes, oceans, and the atmosphere as well. secondly, voices should be heard to remind the public of the importance of protecting the environment. thirdly, enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions to the problems.

only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it. it’s high time that we unite as one to make up this common cause. no matter young or old, women or men, we are just one people on the lonely planet. protect the environment is to protect ourselves.

on a saturday i went to have i felt there was aterrible smell and went over to have a look i found that there was abig pile of banana skins giving out the then a young fellow holding adustpan rubbish to walk towards here . he raised his hands, the big pile ofrubbish was at once i went to him and said “uncle , you can’t do like these things will rot very it’s bad for our health and make the peoplefall ” however ,the man said “everyone does so ,who falls ill,who will seethe ”

looking at this , i remembered another act : there is a stream through over it there are two bridges .at the age of seven years old , ienjoyed the beautiful scenery under the bridge very it was the best placeto swim in but now the rubbish was getting more and more .dishleaves,fruit skins,dead ducks and chickens….after rotting ,not only themosquitos flew around but also the bad smell made everyone feel the stream was cleaned up several times, it’s still a lot of plastic bags always float on it .in summmer we have to go far awayfrom the village to.

what causes this? who is the devil?it’s the human i have got toknown from a book .the rubbish in the countryside mostly occupies the fields anddamages the earth’s surface .it pollutes soil,wave ,atmosphere and damages the adults often say “the body is ” but why are they able tomake woollen cloth like this ? does it affect everybody’s safe and sound life?

schoolmates, we are the host of society tomorrow . it’s our duty to improveand build the safe.

safety is in our hands .we must take park in more environmental protectionactivities, plant more trees and flowers to make us live in a beautiful homewith the blue sky ,blue water and green land

The earth is our home, but also our mother. Earth free supply us all kindsof resources, but we still for a little petty profit, regardless of theconsequences of wanton to destroy her. As the only one earth, "the article said,we can't count on destroyed the earth moving to other planets, the earth iflost, then fell to the earth's fate will eventually befall humans. So we toolate, too late, to protect our earth, care for the environment, I suggest you todo the following:

1. Cherish now every mouthful of air, as far as possible to reduce thenumber of the factory, industrial waste gas will be less. The good news is, wesee the government has put many polluting factories, rectification within a timelimit or migration. We also know that every household use of coal gas has beenchanged to natural gas, advocating walking with less cars, this is to protectthe atmosphere. We more afforestation, forest not only can breathe fresh air,also can purify the air. To stop deforestation behavior, less destruction ofnature.

2. Don't abuse of various resources, such as coal, ore, wood, water... Ifthese resources are endless, is bound to form all kinds of resources depletion,when people do not have the resources, we could not survive.

3. The water is the source of life, but it is too small. Although thesurface looks large area on earth is covered by water, but with less than oneover ten, an acute shortage of water in many cities, so, we should save water.At present, the school advocates our toilet cistern in home put a mineral waterbottle, isn't it the measures to save water? Use to wash the dishes, the waterthat clean out rice water the flowers, use wash clothes water to flush thetoilet, isn't it a to save water!

Although we have one or two people can't change the fate of the earth, butas long as the whole nation is intravenous drip minor matter, starts from theside to protect and cherish our earth, the earth can dazzle the smiling face ofyouth!

地球是我们的家，同时也是我们的母亲。地球无偿的供给我们各种资源，而我们却还为了一点蝇头小利，不顾后果的肆意去破坏她。正如<只有一个地球>那篇文章所说的，我们不能再指望破坏了地球移居到别的星球上去，地球如果灭亡了，那么降临到地球上的命运终究也会降临到人类身上。所以我们亡羊补牢，为时不晚，保护我们的地球，爱护环境，我建议大家做到如下几点:

1.珍惜现在的每一口空气，把工厂的数量尽可能的减少，工业废气也会随之减少。可喜的是，我们看到政府已将许多重污染的'工厂叫停，限期整改或迁移。我们还知道每家每户用的煤气已改成了天然气，倡导步行少用汽车，这都是保护大气的举措。我们还要多植树造林，森林不仅能呼出新鲜空气，还能净化空气。要制止乱砍伐森林的行为，要少破坏大自然。

2.不要滥用各种资源，如，煤、矿、木、水……如果这些资源被无止境的开采，必定会形成各种资源的枯竭，当人们没有资源时，我们就无法生存了。

3.水是生命的源泉，但是它又实在太少了。虽然表面看起来地球上大面积都被水覆盖，可是能用的却不到十分之一，许多城市严重缺水，所以，我们要节约用水。目前，学校倡导我们在家里的马桶水箱里放一个矿泉水瓶子，不正是节约用水的举措吗?用洗菜、淘米的水浇花，用洗衣服的水冲马桶，不正是为节约用水尽一份力嘛!

虽然我们一两个人改变不了地球的命运，但是只要全国人民都从身边的点滴小事做起，保护和珍惜我们的地球，地球就能炫出青春的笑脸!

Spring returns to the earth, the grass grows and the warbler flies, and the grass is green again. In this thriving and vibrant spring day, we ushered in the annual Arbor Day. Planting trees and greening homes is a major event for the benefit of generations and an obligation of every citizen. When we enjoy the pleasure brought by the beautiful urban environment, we also have the responsibility and obligation to make our modest contribution to the beautification and greening of the city.

To this end, we have issued the following initiatives to teenagers and parents in the city:

1、 Plant green. Consciously fulfill citizens tree planting obligations, actively participate in voluntary tree planting activities and jointly build a green home. I hope that you and your parents can use your spare time and weekends to go into the community and the countryside, holding hands and planting a piece of green hand in hand.

2、 Protect the green. Care for green life, actively participate in greening, beautification and purification activities in public places, consciously protect every plant and tree around you, do not trample on the lawn, do not climb branches and flowers, timely dissuade uncivilized behaviors, and be a "Green Guardian" of green protection.
