Today, I’m very happy to make a speech here.When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. Its funny. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true: I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chinese culture with them. 今天就借此机会让各位家长看一下孩子们的默写本，这些默写作业是每节课前五分钟必做环节，以此来检查孩子们对于上一节课的知识掌握情况。对于班上大部分孩子，默写本上基本会出现一至三处的错误，希望家长们能从中找出孩子存在的不足，督促孩子制定今后的学习努力方向。本学期开学至今，班级的学习气氛很浓，英语成绩较之上学期又有了一定的进步。英语这门学科和语数不一样的地方在于它的灵活多变性，它的题型可以千变万化，但它的变化总是建立在一个不变的基础上的，那就是这些基础知识：单词，短语，句型。一旦基础的东西掌握了，不管它怎么变，万变不离其宗。接下来请各位家长和我一起看一下本次的英语期中测试

相信各位家长看了孩子们的英语默写本和期中试卷后一定能够发现他们在英语学习中存在的不足。我希望家长能了解孩子们的英语学习要求，从而帮助和指导自己的孩子在家有效开展英语学习，使孩子们能够在后半学习的学习中能取得最佳的成绩，以实现家长、孩子、老师三者共同的心愿。本学期的英语学习要求主要有以下三个方面：

1。默写的内容：书后单词表中蓝色单词、课文中老师要求划的短语、以及C、D部分的句型。

2。背诵的内容：每单元A部分课文，C、D部分句型，以及老师要求抄的笔记及每课的语法知识

3。要求练习的内容：《牛津小学英语练习与测试》和每天的家庭作业。

英语学习贵在坚持，听、说、读、写，四个方面缺一不可，课后的复习和巩固尤为重要，所以希望家长在家中积极配合老师的英语教学，及时了解孩子的学习情况，督促孩子坚持每天读英语，按时完成老师布置的作业。在此我希望各位家长能做到以下两点：

1、家长定期检查孩子的作业本，特别是默写本，关心孩子的学习情况，并督促孩子及时改错。

2、每个周末家长定时复习笔记，英语笔记的内容是精华部分，是重要知识点，语法点。考试前读一读、认真复习，会有事半功倍的效果。

作为教师我们一定会尽最大的努力来教好每一位孩子，同时我们也真诚的希望能够得到您的支持和配合。我们每一位英语老师要带三个班的英语课，关注近180个孩子的英语学习，工作量是很大的，相比而言我们力量是微小的，有了您的加入，才能形成家校联合的强大力量。

One day, a little horse was asked to mill flour by his mother ，He carried the two bags of wheat and left home. He was walking happily.When he came to a river,the mill was on the other side of the river and there was no bridges over the water.

有一天，一匹小马的妈妈让他去磨房磨面，他背着两袋子麦子离开了家，他很快乐的走着。当他来到了一条河，磨房在河对面，可河上没有桥。

Now, what would the little horse do. Looking at the flowing water, he got confused. Then he saw an old cow eating grass on the bank, . So he asked him : “ Uncle cow, is the water deep ? And can I walk across it ? ” “ Not at all ! ” the cow said. “It’s just as high as my lower legs, you can go across it. It’s safe. ” Then the little horse was ready to go across the water. Just then, a squirrel in the tree shouted to him : “Little horse, don’t go in the water. It’s too deep. You’ll get drawned, and one of my friends got drawned in it a few days ago. ”

现在小马该怎么办呢？看着滚滚的河水，他困惑了，然后他看见一头老牛在河岸边吃草，于是他问道：“牛叔，水深吗？我能过河吗？”牛叔答道：“一点也不深，你可以过河，水只到到我的小腿肚，很安全。”于是小马就准备过河了，就在那时，树上的小松鼠对小马大喊道：“小马，不要过河，水太深了，你会被淹死的，我的一个朋友前些天才被溺水了。”

So the little horse drew back his legs quickly, he had to go back to ask his mother what to do. When his mother heard his story, she laughed and said to him : “ My child, it’s not enough if you only listen to the others. you must try it by yourself, then you'll find the truth. ”

于是小马马上把腿收回来，他必须得回家问问妈妈该怎么办？当他妈妈听到这件事后，笑着对小马说：“我的孩子，如果只听别的那是不够的，你得自己亲自去尝试，找到真相。”

The little horse came back to the river again. When he put his legs in the water again, the squirrel cried out again : “ Little horse, it’s dangerous, you can’t do that ! ” “Let me have a try.” The horse said. And with those words he walked carefully across the river. The water was neither that shallow as the cow had told him nor that deep as the squirrel had described. It was just OK for him.
