今年，进入了关键的五年级，每位同学和家长都能充分感受到五年级的英语学习压力。家长们留心注意会发现英语的课文由简单的对话变为较长篇幅的短文，单词较多，也有了更多的语法知识。五年级的英语学习，在整个小学阶段处于一个绝对的主导作用，对学生英语学习的要求发生了质的变化，也许您的孩子在三四年级的时候，英语学习不用花功夫，也能考40以上。但是现在如果孩子依然是只凭上课听听，回家不读不记，那么英语成绩将会出现下滑现象。学生们都是在同一起跑线上起跑的，经过五年来的英语学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，功亏一篑，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，作业拖拉不完成，背诵课文的作业根本不做，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。

今天就借此机会让各位家长看一下孩子们的默写本，这些默写作业是每节课前五分钟必做环节，以此来检查孩子们对于上一节课的知识掌握情况。对于班上大部分孩子，默写本上基本会出现一至三处的错误，希望家长们能从中找出孩子存在的不足，督促孩子制定今后的学习努力方向。本学期开学至今，班级的学习气氛很浓，英语成绩较之上学期又有了一定的`进步。英语这门学科和语数不一样的地方在于它的灵活多变性，它的题型可以千变万化，但它的变化总是建立在一个不变的基础上的，那就是这些基础知识：单词，短语，句型。一旦基础的东西掌握了，不管它怎么变，万变不离其宗。接下来请各位家长和我一起看一下本次的英语期中测试

相信各位家长看了孩子们的英语默写本和期中试卷后一定能够发现他们在英语学习中存在的不足。我希望家长能了解孩子们的英语学习要求，从而帮助和指导自己的孩子在家有效开展英语学习，使孩子们能够在后半学习的学习中能取得最佳的成绩，以实现家长、孩子、老师三者共同的心愿。本学期的英语学习要求主要有以下三个方面：

1。默写的内容：书后单词表中蓝色单词、课文中老师要求划的短语、以及C、D部分的句型。

2。背诵的内容：每单元A部分课文，C、D部分句型，以及老师要求抄的笔记及每课的语法知识

3。要求练习的内容：<牛津小学英语练习与测试》和每天的家庭作业。

Elephant sat under a tree, where nobody could see him. He started to cry. His head was hanging down, crying big tears. He sat and cried for days. One day, when his tears had dried up, he went to itch his head and he felt a bump on his back. Then he noticed his nose had stretched because it had got wet with all the crying and it was now a long trunk which had hit him on his back.

He went to the river and got his trunk, put it in the water and sucked the water up. Then he sprayed his back with water.

All the other animals came over to him and said “you are so clean and smell so lovely. Do you want to play with us?”

Enjoying means taking things, taking time to see, to hear, to taste, to smell, to feel. They do not take time to do this. They say: “I’ll do it when I have enough money to retire” then they find that it is too late.

Why we usually make such a mistake and even more mistakes? Activists say it is because of money itself. They think money has changed many things. For example, they think money has changed our way to measure someone’s value in the society. They even regard money as the source of evil. Also, they hate money, but they are wrong, completely wrong.

In my opinion, it is unfair to money. Money is a tool. Well, there’s no denying that we do something harmful with money. But we can’t say money is the source of evil. Just like a hammer, we can use a hammer to kill someone, but can we say a hammer is a devil? It is the same with money.

Money is neither good nor bad itself. It is a mirror, a perfect and important mirror, and a mirror that reflects both the darkness and the brilliance of humanity. In other words, all depend on us.

So, my fellow students, ladies and gentlemen in the future, ask not what we can do for money, ask what money can do for us, ask what money can do to show the brilliance of humanity. Because, we have the future; we are the future

我是五(3)班的英语老师，首先欢迎各位家长的到来。借此机会，我想应该给各位家长谈一下孩子们在这一个学期学习英语的情况。开学初，本班学生在英语学习中缺乏积极性，自觉性差，凡事都要不停地反复的督促。布置的任务不能及时的完成。而五年级的英语教材相较三、四年级，又有所变化，起初孩子们没有找好学习的切入点，所以我们在座有些家长就反映孩子的英语成绩较之前有所下降。一学期下来了，在强化课堂教学，抓好课堂效益上，我结合教材和学生的多方面情况，做了以下一些工作：

1、五年级英语在听、说、读、写方面的要求更加重要，我们尽量在课堂上帮助学生掌握知识，开展活动，让他们在不知不觉中张口说英语。比如我们班庄园，王辉，钱勇，曹旭成，王声康，许雅文等同学，每节课的知识和作业都能当堂掌握和完成。

2、兴趣是最好的老师。英语课中多是一些情景对话，我们常常设置一个情境，让学生进入其中，以表演的形式学习新知，乐在其中。如李杰，葛宇，逗号，潘建如，李浪，张朋顺，周扬名，吴家佩，花尉揩，沈培欢等同学，经常表演和惟妙惟肖，让人忍俊不禁的同时，其他同学也加深了对课文的理解。

3、孩子们都是要强的，我们举行各式各样的比赛，让他们自发地要求进步。最近我们开展一对一的擂台赛。孩子们学习的'积极性高涨。如张峰玮与庄园同学之间，杨冬煦和潘康同学之间，你追我赶，共同进步。

我们也进行了一些简单的测试，有很多同学较开学初都有很大的进步。尤其是张影，张自豪，刘俊杰，李杰，鲍胜凡，潘国光，吕文豪等同学。我们班同学，优秀的学生不仅成绩好，在英语表达能力上也有提高，学习有困难的学生也不气馁，一直在努力地向前冲。学习英语是为了以后能与人用英语交流，平时有积累，最后就能收获成功。让我们一起为孩子们营造一个开心快乐的学习氛围，真正让孩子们相对学的轻松，扎实，有效。
