今天，我的演讲是关于人才，在我看来，人才在当今社会是不可或缺的。众所周知，国家间的斗争实际上是人才之间的战斗。

首先，我想定义“人才”这个词在我的想法，才能是一个人谁是擅长或公司部分或多个领域。如今，随着世界发展，如果一个国家想要排名顶部或世界上做得很好，国家必须有很多人才。例如，中国，世界上最大的发展中国家，在过去的120xx年里，总是被其他国家的入侵，当时为什么，原因是中国没有如此多的人才。如果他们anti-intrusion战争领袖人才，不用说，他们会打败那些大国。如果他们在武器制造人才，nodody敢惹我们。然而，如今，这是一个完全不同的情况下，中国已成为全世界powerfulin，为什么?因为有很多人才服务于国家，平民越来越有文化。越来越多的人上大学，越来越多的人开始接受进一步的教育。在军队是什么，作为回报，才能保护我们的国家免受入侵，人才在商业的帮助使我们的经济保持改善，人才航空让世界看到中国载人飞船飞行。人才在体育在奥运会上让中国排名第一……

Today, my speech is about talents,in my opinion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.

First, i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say,they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university,more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return,talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games……

To sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,that's all,thank you.

以外，有更加好的效果带给我们不能直接看到的奥运会。例如，越来越多的人了解中国。我相信神秘的中国文化会强烈吸引他们。和奥运会也将做良好的经济和环境，因为这是获得外国投资者的关注和保护环境的意识正在加强。更重要的是，奥运会给一个独特的机会来激励和教育新一代的中国青年奥林匹克精神和奥林匹克精神。现在，我们已经看到这么多的进步，你能想象我们失去控股权利?

First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”

Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.

Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?

I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”

For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.

At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

Stepping into the new century environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as water pollution air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street the gas stations are short of gasoline even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

进入新世界以来，环境污染比任何时候都要严峻。有各式各样的污染：水污染，空气污染，噪音污染等等。看起来我们活着一个四周都是污染源的星球。那么，这些污染是从何而来的呢?在很大程度上，环境被破坏就是我们为快速的经济增长和人口增加所付出的惨烈代价。为了得到更多的能源，人们砍伐树木，挖更多的煤矿，但是还是难以维持日益增长的需求。不计其数的私家车充斥着公路，加油站的汽油严重短缺，政府多次上调油价也未能阻止私家车对汽油的需求。自然资源的过度利用已经影响到了生态平衡。然而，工厂依旧向外排放有毒气体，把工业废水倒入河里。人们依旧缺乏保护环境的意识。我认为人们应该做些事情了。

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way our earth could be a better place to live in.

In my opinion,finding me-time is important. With thedevelopment of the modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried. I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But now, basketball, my best friend, I havent touched it for almost two months. Me- time seems to have become a luxury. Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told my parents the news. I asked my father, “ Dad, may I play basketball after school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time.” My father showed his dispproval and said, “ Of course you cant. Im disappointed at you. Why do you have such a silly idea? Dont forget to work hard on your schoolwork and piano lessons.” In my parents points of view, playing basketball is a waste of time. As far as Im concerned, the school assignment to the junior school students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you like? Its me-time. I do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. Finding me-time will make our life rich, colorful and rewarding. Sandstorm is a kind of bad weather witch is becoming increasingly common in Northwestern China, and it usually happens in spring and fall. Though Im only 13, I have experienced it and suffered from it quite a lot. Im sure most people still remember the sandstorm that happened last month. It swept across the large area of 11 provinces and caused a great loss to our nation. As you can see on TV, when a sandstorm comes, the wind blows strongly with dust and sand. Sometimes trees are even broken down in half, and little birds cannot find their homes. Sometimes clouds of dust blur the vision, and little kids cannot find their ways. Its like the end of the world. When a sandstorm occurs, our classroom is filled with dust and sand. My poor teachers! Theyve breathed in enough chalk-powder. Now, they have to take in much dust. My poor fellow classmates! They told me they were almost dying. We love beautiful spring. We cherish bright sunshine. But sandstorms destroy all the lovely things. Yet we know it is Mother Natures revenge on what we have done to her. In order to see blue sky and sunny spring again, we should plant more trees and more grass to protect the environment. And it is not too late if we start right now. Though its a hard job to fight against the sandstorm, it is the battle we must fight, and it is a battle we must win! Thank you!
