It is really my honor to stand here , especially with all these excellent students! Well! The topic of my speech today is “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility”!

The first time I noticed this saying was when I was watching the film Spider-man, the reason why it impressed me so much is not only it is from a super hero, but also I have the same feeling as well!

As is generally accepted, every single man should be of help to the society. As a teacher, you have the responsibility to give your knowledge to the next generation. As a soldier, you have the responsibility to defend for your country. As a leader, you have the responsibility to offer your people freedom and happiness, and so on. All these above show that: Your ability is not so valuable if you don’t make full use of it to make a contribution to your country.

I believe that everybody wants to be valuable, so the question is how to get more power. Of course we can’t get it by having a poisonous spider beating us. Well, I think to us students, the most important thing is to study hard. However, it is still very far from enough only by having a good education. We should also experience the real life, and face every challenge and seize every opportunity! What’s more, communication is also a point of view. Hello, my dear friends. My name is Song Xudong, a sunshine boy who comes from class three. I am very glad to be here to share with you a piece of my understanding about challenge and responsibility.

Firstly, please allow me to ask you a question, who we are? Here, everyone will say we are college students, because I believe that we are proud of the name. Well, the question is coming, what is our challenge and responsibility?"No zuo no die" was one of the 10 most popular vocabulary in 2014. However, we will never be successful if we are afraid of die. So when we are meeting challenge, please do not be afraid, let us meet the challenge and take the responsibility. For me, i like basketball and soccer, they like a challenge for me, however i am not afraid of my blockers at all, because i should and must be responsible to my teammates and team. I am not sure whether I can overcome my blocker, but I must try my best to win the game. So please take the responsibility when you meet the challenge, do not worry about the result. Similarly, in our university life during the following four years, we will often meet all sorts of challenges. However no matter how difficult the challenge is, please don't forget to take our responsibility. I believe that only in this way we can learn more things, the same we can also grow up better.

Secondly, the challenges and responsibilities are also necessary for our country. If our country ignores the challenge and responsibility, I think our country can not develop well. As the saying goes, everything has two sides. For example, the world organization for China is a challenge, but if China only meeting the challenge and not to take the a result, the development of China in the world will be failure. We've all heard about a famous saying, " the greater the ability,the greater the responsibility. This sentence is not only for our humans but also for a nation. In recent years, as we all know, the wrest haze in China is becoming more and more serious, people's health is under threat. China only focuse on its development, however our nation ignors to protect the environment. Living in a polluted environment, no one will feel proud because of the fog, it is very clear that fog is a huge challenge for China now. Facing to the challenge, our government cannot escape it, we should take the responsibility. Because as the government of China it should be responsible to the people. Taking active measures to solve the problem of environmental pollution. Only in this way, our environment will be more and more beautiful, while our body will be also more and more healthy.

last but not least, in our daily life, the challenges will appear any time, each of us could not avoid, the only thing we can do is to meet the challenge with confidence, try our best to overcome the challenge. Both for our human beings and national, or even the world. And at the same time, we must not forget to
