If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer. It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference. It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled - Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.

It's the answer that led those who have been told for so long by so many to be cynical, and fearful, and doubtful of what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day. It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America. I just received a very gracious call from Senator McCain. He fought long and hard in this campaign, and he's fought even longer and harder for the country he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine, and we are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader. I congratulate him and Governor Palin for all they have achieved, and I look forward to working with them to renew this nation's promise in the months ahead. I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton and rode with on that train home to Delaware, the Vice President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden. I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last sixteen years, the rock of our family and the love of my life, our nation's next First Lady, Michelle Obama. Sasha and Malia, I love you both so much, and you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House. And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother is watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight, and know that my debt to them is beyond measure. To my campaign manager David Plouffe, my chief strategist David Axelrod, and the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics - you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done. But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to - it belongs to you. I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn't start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington - it began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself.Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.

As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. A dream

I remember when I was young; my mother often described the beauty of the grasslands through this poem: “tian cang cang, ye mang mang,feng chui cao di xian niu yang”. it means in English “Clear skies, sweeping plains, the grass bowing before the wind, revealing grazing horses and sheep.” I could recite this even before entering primary school.

16years ago, my mother visited one of the grassland of Inner Mongolia. She said that no words could describe it’s stunning natural charm. With her description firmly printed on my mind I began to long for a tour to the grassland.

Sadly, this marvelous image that I had in my mind changed completely when my mum and I visited the grassland a year ago. As soon as we got there, I couldn’t believe my eyes. What was in front of me was just a piece of land with loosely grown grass. In the far distance I saw only a couple of horses feeding lazily. I asked my mother: “Where is the lush, tall grass?” As puzzled as me, she said nothing. I was shocked to see the differences between the grassland in my dream and what was in front of me.

On the way home, I thought a lot and tried to find answers.

Now I am old enough to bring awareness to other people and share my dream for the grasslands. Overgrazing and extensive farming have ruined the grassland and so taken away the charm of our homeland. But I am confident that one day the grasslands will recover and its true wealth and beauty will be realized as long as everybody gives his contribution to restore our homeland.

我的梦想

从我记事时起，我妈妈就常向我提起草原的景象。“天苍苍，野茫茫，风吹草低现牛羊。”的诗句，在我上小学前就已经耳熟能详了。陪伴我去草原以前，妈妈也只去过一次草原，那是在1988年夏天，妈妈陪南方来的朋友们一起去呼和浩特市北郊的昭和草原观光。妈妈说：草原真美呀，蓝蓝的天空下，茂密的草场，足有一人高，放眼望去，一望无际，风吹过，绿浪翻滚，像大海的`波涛，真是一片绿色的海洋。妈妈的描述，使我从六岁起就对草原充满向往。

直到去年的国庆假期，妈妈第一次带我去了草原以后，我脑海中草原的印象却完全变了

当旅游车停在了一片只有几厘米高，更像是一个大草坪一样的操场时，导游说：草原到了。我满怀喜悦的心情被下车时看到的景象迷惑了。问妈妈：这就是草原呀?!怎么不见风吹草低现牛羊啊!妈妈也显得很吃惊。如此低矮的草;更没有洁白的羊群，吃草的马儿也显得无精打采。

在回家的路上，我想了许多是啊，过度的放牧和开垦破坏了草原的美丽，正是人类自己毁坏了我们的家园。

这次带着遗憾的草原之行，深深地触动了我。站在这里，我想说，我有个愿望：朋友们，让我们每个人都尽一份力量，让我可爱的家乡-美丽的草原再次重现吧。

when i came into the classroom, i found the atmosphere was quite strange.

everybody looked at me and laughed loudly. suddenly they all said in good order,“happy birthday to you!” then they began to sing “happy birthday to you~~~~~~” that made me moved. i never told anyone about my birthday, how did they know? i believed they must have done a lot of things. at that moment, i found nothing to say but thanks instead!

after school, a thing coming as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior classmates. they all comlained to me,“why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us.” then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was deeply moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day!

when i got back home, i thought of everyth hing happened today. suddenly i felt so happy because i had such great friends around me. i thanked them from the bottom of my heart. i would value the precious friendship forever!

i have so many feelings through that special day. the only rose without thorns in the world is friendship. a true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. one friend in a lifetime is much, two are many, three are hardly possible. stick to make friends, for life without friends is like life on a desert island. to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune, to keep him is a blessing.

I like public speaking as it can help increase my self-esteem and self-confidence. Aside from public speaking, I am also good at English recitation. I have joined the Macao-wide English Individual Recitation for a number of times when I was studying in the secondary school.

Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.

In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.

It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?

Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.

!Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessary for us to live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. One must understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in another way, have you ever seen a car without a steering wheel on the road? So, act now, my friends, find out what you believe in, find out your anchor in your life, hold on to your steeling wheel

of your car, drive on, and reach your destination.

1、巩固基础：我们平时要求学生进行晨读和早读，多读多领悟。每篇课文都要读一遍，并选出重点进行熟读和背诵。为了让学生尽快掌握最重要的'单词、短语和段落，我们规定需要背诵的课文、段落、格言和诗句等内容必须熟练背诵，并进行默写。我会抽出时间来检查默写情况。对于生字和重要词语，我们让学生进行听写，听写后由我或者小组长进行批改，如果有错误立即进行三次快速订正，然后进入下一课的听写准备。之后，将这些写错的词语集中起来多写几遍在作业本上；最后，同桌互相听写自己写错的词语，争取这一次没有错误。

①、大量阅读。我要求学生每天睡前阅读半小时，并积累好词佳句。我始终坚信作文只有厚积才能勃发。

②、精讲多练。除单元作文以外，不放过书本上每一次的小练笔机会，要求并指导学生去写。对于写的好的要讲评并表扬。

③、这个环节非常重要，我在批改作文中投入了最大的精力。对于错字和标点错误，我会圈出来并要求学生自行纠正。同时，我也会评价学生的用词和句子结构的好坏等方面。在发放作文时，我还会花一节课的时间进行点评。我会点名鼓励那些有进步的学生，并对写得好的学生给予充分的表扬。接着，我会选出几篇代表性的作文进行详细的点评，以此极大地激发学生们的写作欲望。

一、备课

1、备课前的准备：

了解教材的内容，熟悉教材的编排特点以及章节之间的联系是备课的重要一环。我们可以通过查阅相关资料，了解每个知识点的具体内容，并弄清楚习题是如何围绕这些知识点设计的。这样在备课时就能有充分的材料可用。此外，我们还需要对学生的基础进行调查，以便确定讲解的深度和出题的难度。此举有助于为讲课时的教学方法和策略做好准备。除了专业知识的准备外，我们也可以多阅读一些小故事、幽默和笑话，以增添课堂的活跃氛围。这些故事和笑话可以用于讲述实例或引发学生们的思考，从而使课堂更加生动有趣。

2、备课：

列出所讲内容的提纲，选择准备好的材料，不能多多益善，一堂课时间容量是有限的，学生的'接受能力也是有限的。突出重点，突破难点，这句话好说，但不好做，采用什么措施，用什么样的教学方法才能突出重点，设置什么样的平台使难点分化，就像上楼一样，让学生一级一级地上，不能跳跃。把握基础，照顾到大多数同学，怎样看得出来照顾到大多数同学呢？期中期末等大型考试的成绩就可以看出来。两头小，中间大是原则，比如此次期中考试二（5）班的化学成绩70—80分的有46人。中间大的好处是在高考备考中中间档次的学生经过系统复习，强化训练都会如雨后春笋一样喷涌而出的。并且这样做还会在学生的评调中自然会获得好评。

3、备课完成后：

备课是教师为了教学而进行的一系列准备工作，在备课过程中，我们可以使用蓝或黑笔进行初次备课，然后用红笔对教案进行修改。在修改时，我们要仔细斟酌每一个细节，慢慢地修改，并根据需要增补内容或调整顺序，直到达到自己满意的结果为止。此外，在上课前，我们还要对备课内容进行温习，以便更好地展示教学效果。当课讲完后，如果发现教案还需要改进，我们应该及时进行修改，因为时间一长就会忘记细节（好记性不如烂笔头）。同时，我们也要妥善保存备课本，以备将来使用。

二、讲课

1、首先心情要好。心无旁骛，不能有杂念，不把课外的情绪带到课堂，不能随便发怒，性格开朗。语言要风趣幽默，1—2分钟的短故事要结合课堂环境随时拿得出来。

2、语言应该富有吸引力。它应该带有一种吸引人的力量，语气变化起伏跌宕，节奏感明显。我们要注意用令人惊奇的方式来表达，从而激发学生的求知欲望。

3、观察学生的肢体语言和面部表情对于教师来说非常重要，因为这有助于他们理解问题。作为教师，我们需要擅长在课堂上表演，利用肢体语言和面部表情与学生互动。通过仔细观察学生的表情和眼神，我们可以判断出他们对知识的掌握程度。

4、板书要规范。板书规范有助于学生做笔记和减轻学生的上课疲劳感。我们青年教师中如李鹏举、伍坚、程时景等一批老师的板书就很规范。

5、教育者应注重培养学生的学科语言，以帮助他们更好地记忆学科内容。尤其是对于重点部分，我们应定期帮助学生进行回顾，使他们能够深入理解学科的特点和要点。

6、培养学生的思维能力，开发学生的智力，不仅受益一科，对学习任何知识都有帮助。

7、讲出学科的解题方法。选择题要典型，讲解分析一定要仔细，注意知识点的覆盖面，多角度剖析，但学生能够做到的一定让他们自己做，不要代劳。

But there is also bad influence. Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games, and some even play games all night. I have remembered such a piece of news . An excellent student flunked (考试不及格) because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games. He spent nearly all the money on games, which was earned by his father's selling blood. When his father knelt down to beg him to return to school, he was too numb to show any regret.

The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents, which affects teenagers ' mental health. Many games involve violence, such as fighting and killing. When they enjoy the pleasure of success, a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them, which may induce future violent behaviour in their life.

So when computers' entertaining function is highly spoken of ,such a problem does deserve our serious concern.

In addition, long time's working before computer also does harm to health. The radiation from the computer can arose many uncomfortable feelings., like a headache, poor eyesight.

At last, people who are fond of making friends on line should also be careful. Many convicts use Internet as a way to cheat. Although it has many disadvantages , Internet has become an indispensable part of people's life in recent years. Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. It is actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. It is also like a cup of tea. When we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink.

However, in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. More and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and -the beauty of friendship. Of course, we don't deny that it is important to find a bet-ter place in our lives, but we wish more and more people could pay a little more attention to themselves and their friends.
