Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes success would be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new fri is success; even now I am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.
However, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very
complicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social status success? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the ? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization ofpeople’ hopes and ideals.
Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope.
What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But I am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life! Wish you all good success!

Two years ago i came into this city of and started my college life the most memorable journey of my life. i was just a shy and little girl that time. all the things seemed fresh to me: new faces large library and physics lab etc. i breathed the air of college greedily i was curious about everything.the class given by the teachers are excellent.they provide us with information not only from our textbook but from other sources as well.i actively involved in student union and varies of association. but soon i realized that i do not make full use of my spare time so i got a part-time job to help a junior student with math lessons besidesi also took part in activities concerning public welfare. we taught the kids there who could not afford school i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us--future teachers. the enrichment of experience taught me the significance of modestyresponsibilitytoleranceand perseverance.
and now i have been here two years. recalling to the two years i think i have to talk about one thing--learning. learn how to study independently learn how to get along with others learn to love learn to… oh there are too much things we have to learn.
comparing with senior high school college is a rather different place. there aren’t so many people to watch you and guide you how to do something any more neither are there so many students who share with you one dream. in college you must think and study yourself so you have to learn and practice to control yourself.
another relationship in college is friendship. my roommates have lived two years with me. in these years they forgive my faults cry with me laugh with me play with me… they always stand with me and support me i have learned a lot from them. i love them all and treasure the friendship with them.
in the next 2 yearsi’ll try my best to and make great contributions to society! that’s my college life. i cherish all i have experienced in college. i love you my college!

现在我在这里已经两年了。回忆两年我想我要谈论一件事——学习。学习如何自学学习如何与他人相处学会爱学会…哦有太多的事情我们必须学习。
与高中相比大学是一个完全不同的地方。没有很多人看你指导你如何做某事也有那么多的学生与你分享同一个梦想。在大学你必须思考和研究自己所以你要控制自己的学习和练习。
在大学的另一种关系是友谊。我的室友和我生活了两年。这些年来他们原谅我的错误跟我哭和我笑和我玩…他们总是站在我和支持我我从他们身上学到了很多东西。我爱他们所有人珍惜和他们的友谊。

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know,college is wildly different from middle school. Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, oryou can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my ownway, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on.Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good tomy future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjusttreatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, andwhat life is like.
To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surelypart of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negativesides. They are not less necessary.

我们进入到大学，大学里的所有事物都是崭新的，我们接触到的东西也会与高中是截然不同的样子。大学生活是那样的丰富又多彩，但是同时也蕴含了太多让你忘记自己想要做什么的因素。如果不规划好自己在大学里面的事情，最后肯定会虚度光阴的。就我的大学生活而言，我一开始就有去定一些目标，把平日里的生活弄的很充实，不然在你没课的时候就会很无聊，玩一整天的手机是很不值得的。我在大学里的生活是下面我所规划的：
一、大学活动很多，选择自己喜欢的参加
刚进入大学，在一个月的军训结束之后，就是学校各种的社团和活动以及院的活动。就我个人已经体会过来说，我建议选校的就不要选院的活动参加，因为他们一般都会撞时间，一个人根本就搞不了，像学生会、志愿者协会、体育委员会等，只要选其一就行，不要贪多，多了反而给自己添麻烦。除了这些锻炼自己能力的活动以外，还可以选择一个自己喜欢的社团参加，社团活动一般都不跟主活动撞时间，并且有时间可以选择，纯粹就是给自己的爱好再添一项而已，不会有其他因素去干扰，完全就是自己喜欢就行，而且还是给大学你的生活添加色彩的一种，生活不会无聊，有很多跟你一样的小伙伴陪你。
二、学校图书很多，一定要去多看看
学校的图书馆一般都不小，大多数的书都是有的，不仅仅是课外一些阅读的书本，还有很多关于所学专业的书都有，可以满足你的“阅览群书”的愿望。各种各样的书籍在你眼前跳跃，这对于你在大学的生活来说可是一个很有意义的一笔。你知道大学的课就那么多，很多都要靠你自己去学习，所以图书馆是一个你学习的好选择。
三、专业知识基础要打好
我现在已读大二，经历一年的学习，知道在大一如果专业基础要是不打好，后面的学习可是很吃力的，因为我现在就有一点吃力了。专业在前期都是一些理论知识，但是理论不学好，后面的实践你就一定跟不上。所以一开始就要注重专业的学习，再说了，我们来学校学的就是你的专业，其他课是给你调剂的。
同学们，大学虽美好，但是也一定要去好好珍惜，在你的大学生活里要隆重的画上你喜欢的样子，才不枉费你来大学一遭。

但即便当今的中国大学如同一个身躯日益臃肿、精神日益枯萎的病人，我仍心甘情愿押上一生中最美好的四年时光，依然心怀向往。向往着充满趣味及挑战的课业学习，积极向上、丰富多彩的校园活动和学长、学姐口中的“打工生活”。这些向往是我读书的动力，让我愿意在庞大的课业压力下继续与考试搏斗，去考入我理想的学府;让我愿意我的智慧和努力去绘制未来美好的四年大学生活。
如果说，人生就像饺子，岁月是皮，经历是馅。酸甜苦辣皆为滋味，毅力和信心正是皮上的褶皱。对待大学生活，我们应该端正态度，努力掌握知识、体验生活、经历该经历的活动。因为我相信，只要努力，这些对大学美好的向往将不只是“向往”。
