There is also the custom of eating moon cakes on the Mid Autumn Festival, because the round moon cakes symbolize reunion. Nowadays, there are many moon cakes with different tastes, some sweet and some salty. Stuffing is also very rich, there are five kernel, preserved fruit, bean paste, jujube mud, coconut, and egg yolk and so on.
