The summer holiday  coming. I’m going to have a good rest and learn to relax myself. I will read more useful books because reading more books  not only interesting but also helps me learn more knowledge. I will try to spend more time in chatting with my parents and help them to do some housework. I am going to take part in the social activities so that I can know more about the society. If possible, I’d like to make a trip to Xiamen. I’m sure I’ll have an interesting and meaningful summer holiday. I am looking forward to it.

I really had an interesting but short winter holiday.

On the January 23rd, it snowed in ChongQing. I felt surpised and happy. I quickly went out of the house. And I made a snowman with my little sister. Then we had a snowball fight. Although it was cold, we both felt very happy.

During winter holiday, I always got up at 11 o clock. After lunch, I did the dishes and did my homework. If my friends came to see me, we always went shopping and had afternoon tea togther.

I also did sports during winter holiday. I often did a morning run. Because it can help me to bulid my strength.

In a word, I had a nice winter holiday.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody.

You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do.

I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as soon as I have time.

Chrtmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. It  a very happy day for many boys and girls. Before the term ends in some schools, the children act a nativity or “birth” play, showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December, all children are very excited. Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger children think that Father Chrtmas will come down the chimney or fireplace, so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in. The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents. Later that night, father or mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.

On Chrtmas morning, the children wake up very early. Some even turn on the light at two o'clock, and most of them are awake by six o'clock, and the young ones play while the dinner  prepared. At about one o'clock in the afternoon, the Chrtmas dinner  brought in. The turkey or chicken  quickly eaten. Children search in their Chrtmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it. The rest of the day  full of games and eating until the happiest of all Chrtmas holidays comes to an end.

I like Chrtmas, it  just like our Spring Festival. Maybe the Spring Festival  much more important and interesting than Chrtmas, but I like Chrtmas Day better. Because we can spend time with our friends and classmates during Chrtmas. When it  snowy, Chrtmas becomes much more lovely, just like in fairytales. I can imagine I am in a fairytale, the girl who sold the matches  my friend, the ugly duck becoming more and more beautiful and so on. What a beautiful place! So we can also call Chrtmas “Snowy Lovely Day.” On Chrtmas Day, shops are red and green. There are so many Chrtmas cards, Chrtmas hats, Chrtmas dolls and many colourful things. So shops look very beautiful. We can give a card or a doll to our friends and say “Merry Chrtmas.” By the way, I think studying can also become much more interesting. Chrtmas  coming, it also means a new year will come. Let’s study harder to welcome the new year!
