英语是一门很实用的学科。英语能力是在听、说、读、写的实践中形成的，

“英语是越不说越不会说；越不会说越不敢说。”我在实践中发现课前小演讲能激发学生孩子们的兴趣促使他们积极地寻找他们感兴趣的材料，绞尽脑汁自己寻找或写材料自己想说的、想表达的话，它是解决“没什么可说”的这一难题的重要途径之一。开展英语课前一分钟的小演讲活动旨在为学生创造更多的是间和空间，体验英语学习的乐趣，从而展学生的综合语言运用能力。

英语课前一分钟的演讲活动有助于调动学生学习英语的积极性，培养学生的学习能力

生对英语学习的兴趣；有利于因材施教，克服课堂教学的局限性，满足学生学习的多样性性；有利于增加英语实践的机会，培养创新合作精神，培养智力和个性，展示才华；有利提高学生的跨文化交际意识，培养学生的合作意识和集体观念；有利于“师生之间建立起一种超越课堂教育范围的纽带”。

在每节英语课之前，我安排一个学生去舞台上做小英语演讲：所谓的小演讲是英语自我介绍，讲述自己的经历，一段对话，一首诗，一个故事或一篇文章即使是一部短剧也能教给学生一句谚语、一首诗等等。说到生词和短语，课前写在黑板上，鼓励学生课后阅读，课后收集生词，促进学生之间的合作学习。让学生上台讲成语、名言、谚语。他们将坚持多年，并产生巨大的影响。

1. 单词联想。

老师给了一个词，例如：食物。学生可以用它来分组单词和讲一个英语故事。

2. 看图说话。
