很感谢各位家长在百忙中抽出时间来参加今天的家长会，很高兴能有这样一个机会，和大家进行面对面的交流。今天我想就学生们在校英语学习中存在的一些问题与各位家长共同探讨，以便更好地帮助孩子学好英语，为以后后的英语学习打好扎实的基础。
一、学习方面
1.抓住起步，向起跑线要效率
如果孩子小学的英语没有学好，那相对来说，现在会比较累；同样的，如果现在不学好英语，英语的学习也是不难想象的。初一，是一个崭新的起点，是一个完全可以打牢基础和巩固基础的时候，也是培养学习习惯和学习方法的最佳时期，我认为每个家长都要高度重视这个关键时期。
2.课堂学习方面
（1）听课纪律：课上四十分钟时间非常宝贵，要求专心听课，而有的学生注意力很不集中，太容易开小差，（走神，与同桌讲话，看课外书籍等），老师讲到哪里根本不清楚。
（2）发言习惯：学英语，一定要经常读，背，敢于开口说。有的同学上课很积极，巴不得每次老师都能请他回答。但有的学生很少、甚至从不主动举手发言。被迫发言时，声音都非常轻，也不是很自然，大方，缺乏自信。其实，举手发言是很好的习惯，能促使自己专心听讲，积极思维，同时也是锻炼口头表达能力的机会。
（3）笔记习惯：俗话说“好记性不如烂笔头”！听课记笔记的能力也是非常重要的，有的语法知识我会要求他们记在笔记本上或课本上，补充一些知识。每学完一个单元就应该进行整理。但有的学生英语书上从来没有笔记，只有乱画的图画。
3.作业习惯
当天的作业一定要当天完成，独立做并按时完成，现在的作业本上的作业多数是抄写单词、听力对话的抄写翻译，写短文。练习册上的题多数应该做得对，但一些题如完形填空、阅读理解题，因为新词汇较多，有的学生读不懂，也情有可愿。但要鼓励他们多动脑筋做。
二、请家长配合老师完成以下工作
