周六下午，是我每周上新概念英语的时间。

我最喜欢上这个课了，因为这个课上有Bread老师，我们叫她“面包”老师，她是位又可爱又漂亮的老师。我们一起上课的还有我的几个好朋友，我们都有英文名字，宇锡叫“George”，可是我们叫他“脚趾”，我叫“Dave”，他们却叫我“豆腐”或者“德芙巧克力”。

今天的课“面包”老师让我们做一个很有挑战性的游戏，名字叫“读口型，猜单词。”就是一个人不出声音读个单词，其他人抢猜他读是什么单词。这个游戏难度我认为应该是十星，我们不但要仔细看读的人的口型，还要迅速在脑子里回想课文里学过的单词。游戏开始后，我们真的很紧张，读单词的同学，有的就看见他嘴巴动了一下我们还没看清就说读完了；有的只看见舌头吐了一下；还有的同学可能读音不准，都不知道他到底读的是什么；更可怕的有的是我们猜了半天，说了很多单词，结果读的人说，他已经忘记读的是哪个单词了。有的单词我们真猜对了，有的就是猜出来了，也是“瞎猫碰上了死耗子”，蒙的。有的，真的猜不出啊。在这种艰苦的游戏环境下，我们每个人都在努力的给自己挣分，每得一分，“面包”老师就给我们发一个小小的可爱的橡皮。每十个橡皮我们就可以换一个小礼物。经过激烈的争夺，我得了第一名，这个游戏中我得了七个小橡皮，真高兴。

快下课的时候，“面包”老师问我们有没有提前背单词，我们都说背过，她说那我们抽默下，我们全体立刻进入默哀状态，大家都赶紧说：“我们真的`真的背过，但真的真的已经忘记了。”最后默写的结果是我错了一个半，不过还好，我是第二名，第一名是个六年级的同学。

这次和上次课我一共得了十四个小橡皮，用其中十个小橡皮换来了一个漂亮的小笔筒。回家路上我一直抱着它，可是刚到家放下时，却“吧嗒”一下掉地上了，上面的小花“凋谢”了。真是小伤心啊。

11月20日，我接到了英语老师发来的一个名叫“21世纪联想杯”的英语演讲比赛，她说我能参加，妈妈就给我报了名。为了这次比赛，我可是费了九牛二虎之力。我先是把比赛的草稿写好，再把它交给英语老师让她给我翻译成英语，接着我就在家里从早到晚不停的读，直到滚瓜烂熟为止。

11月24日，早晨7点整妈妈就把我叫起来了，我急忙穿起衣服就跑去刷牙洗脸了。吃完早饭我们一家就开车前往比赛地点：南京医科大学江宁校区逸夫楼集合。我们到那儿时，已经来了很多人了，在一位工作人员的引导下，我们先交了比赛的费用，然后拿着她给我们的报名单上了二楼排队。到了二楼家长不给进，我就自己一个人进去了，在我不知道要干什么的时候一位工作人员说：“小弟弟给我看看你是多少号”？之后她就叫我到一位大姐姐那儿去填表，大姐姐把我手中的报名单一撕二半，把另一半放进了一个塑料牌里成了我的.临时“身份证”。我就一个人在等待区等候。当有人报到编号F——010——012号的人请出列，我的心咚咚直跳我有点害怕了，一位大姐姐把我们带到了三楼的一个房间的旁边说：“你们在这里等候，依次进去，不要害怕”。我看到前面有的人出来就哭了，也有的人出来说挺好的，我的心里真是十五个吊桶打水——七上八下。轮到我进去了，我看到评委是一个中国人和两个外国人，我的心里有些紧张，由于紧张有两个地方停了一下，在于评委交流的时候我还有一句没听懂，但是后面我就不紧张了。

经过这次比赛，我意实到我的英语还有很多不足的地方，比如我在与别人沟通时就不行，英语不光要死记硬背还要会说会运用，在以后的学习中我要更努力才行。
